Newborns

When it comes to newborns, patience is the name of the game. These sessions can last anywhere from 1-4 hours. We’ll take all the necessary breaks for feeding, changing, cuddling, you name it, to make sure we capture all the little details of your new angel.

When to Schedule

I find that it’s best to photograph newborns with in the first 7 days of their new lives. The reason being that they tend to be the sleeepiest in the beginning and are easiest to position. Another reason is that baby acne typically starts around day 10 so it’s best to capture them when they are fresh and new.

What to Expect

For my newborn sessions, I like to document all the little details such as hands and feet. I also love to capture the unique bond between parent and child.  I like to keep the studio nice and warm for my newborn sessions since 90% of the time they are photographed in their birthday suits.
