As a busy parent, they are a challenge to do alone. It's hard to find the time to do the necessary planning, ordering, arranging, measuring, and hanging. That's where we come in. Whether you want to just feature your newest collection of images, or artfully mix photos from your sessions over the years, let us take care of the hard parts and build the family wall of your dreams. We love both equally at MDP. The important thing to remember is that canvas' are forever. Frames can be updated from time to time.
Your pre-shoot planning session will provide the guidelines for the look and style we are aiming for with your session. At this time, you can send along photos of your walls as described in The Process section above. We will then be able to determine the exact size and style that will best compliment your home.
Depending on the scope of the project, family walls can take up to 12 weeks from design to installation.
Complimentary frame installation is included with commissions of $2000+. Once we receive an exact delivery date from our framer, we will call to schedule your installation, typically 6-7 weeks after your ordering appointment.
If you don't have any wall space to hang custom artwork, or just don't hang personal photos in your home, a signature album will be the perfect keepsake for your home.
The cost of a family wall completely depends on how many prints, frames, and canvases required for your home. The cost typically runs between $3000-16,000.
We work with master framers who put the utmost care into everything they do. All of our frames include gallery grade, 8ply matting, and your choice of UV protective conservation clear glass or glare- free museum glass.
