To ensure availability—especially during busy seasons like summer and fall—it's best to book your portrait session 4 to 6 weeks in advance. Maternity and newborn photography sessions often require even earlier planning, as we aim to photograph maternity around 32–36 weeks and newborns within the first 7–14 days of life.
If you're interested in senior portraits, family photography, or professional headshots and branding sessions, reserving your date ahead of time helps us plan the perfect location, outfits, and overall vibe for your shoot. Last-minute openings do occasionally pop up, so feel free to reach out even if you're on a tighter timeline!
Pricing varies depending on the type of session you're booking. You’ll find more detailed information on each individual service page.
Aside from headshot sessions, most clients invest between $1,000 and $2,500 on their portraits, with some choosing to spend more on custom-designed artwork and heirloom-quality products. Whether you're looking for something simple and classic or a fully tailored experience, I’m happy to help you find the right fit for your needs and vision.
Want to learn more? I offer a complimentary Consultation Call where we can chat through your ideas, answer any questions, and explore which session option is right for you.
Booking your portrait session is simple! Just head to the Contact page and fill out the short inquiry form. From there, we’ll connect to talk through the type of session you're interested in—whether it’s maternity, newborn, family, high school senior, or personal branding. Headshot sessions can be booked right on the website.
Once we've connected, I’ll send over a booking link where you can select your date, sign your session agreement, and pay the session fee to reserve your spot.

Most of my sessions take place in my natural light studio located in the North Loop of Minneapolis—an ideal space for clean, modern portraits with beautiful light.
I also offer on-location sessions throughout the Twin Cities, whether you're dreaming of a cozy in-home newborn shoot, an outdoor family session in a local park, or a branding session at your workplace.
During our planning process, we’ll choose a location that fits your vision and style. Whether studio or on-location, the goal is always the same: create portraits that feel natural, meaningful, and uniquely you.
What you wear plays a big role in the overall look and feel of your portraits. The good news? I’m here to help with that!
Once your session is booked, I’ll send over a personalized style guide with tips for what photographs best—whether you're planning a maternity session, family portraits, senior photos, or professional headshots.
In general, neutral tones and solid colors tend to work well, avoiding loud patterns or logos. For branding and headshots, we’ll also consider your industry, brand colors, and how you want to show up professionally.
And if you’re unsure, feel free to text me outfit options—I’m always happy to weigh in!

Yes! For sessions where you want a little extra polish—like maternity and family sessions, senior portraits, headshots, or branding photography—I offer the option to add professional hair and makeup and/or professional styling to your experience. I work with trusted local artists who know how to create camera-ready looks that still feel like you.
Many clients choose to do their own styling, but I’m always happy to provide guidance, recommend pros, or point you toward resources that can help you feel confident and prepared.
Whether you're going full glam or keeping it natural, the goal is to help you look and feel your absolute best.
