Meeting the Olsons: A Story Spanning Generations
The Olsons embody a remarkable family narrative that spans over 15 years. Remarkably, I had the pleasure of photographing one of the couples in this family on their wedding day all those years ago. Their journey serves as a testament to the beauty of familial bonds, growth and evolution over time.
Preparing for a family session with a group of 13 can be quite the task, but the Olsons approached it with meticulous planning and enthusiasm. From coordinating their outfits to showcasing radiant smiles, every detail was thoughtfully considered. We meticulously curated their wardrobe color palette, ensuring it reflected their unity and style.
Capturing Timeless Portraits: A Collective Spirit Preserved
Our session began with capturing the entire family together—a moment frozen in time, destined to become a cherished keepsake for generations. We then transitioned to smaller groups, capturing intimate moments between siblings, cousins, and grandparents. Each click of the camera felt like preserving a piece of their collective spirit.
A particular highlight was photographing the grandparents with their adorable grandchildren. Witnessing the pure love and joy in their eyes as they held their grandkids close was truly heartwarming. It’s these simple, everyday moments filled with love and laughter that make life beautiful.

When the Olson’s came in for their viewing and ordering appointment, they knew one thing for sure. They wanted to see those precious moments every day, so they went for a trio of canvases to adorn their walls at home. They picked out the photos that really captured the heart of their family.
