Ever see photos of beautiful gallery walls and think, that’s great…. but how could I ever get that in MY home?! I’m here to tell you that the process of installing artwork in your home is easier than you think. From the time you first reach out to schedule a session to when the nails […]

During Minneapolis’ Stay-Home order, capturing families at home was such a fun and unique experience. I know it gave a lot of people a much-needed and safe break from being cooped up inside. These past few months have been strange and difficult for so many of us, which makes me extra grateful that I was […]

It’s no secret that I LOVE shooting baby sessions, but lately, I’ve come to realize just how near and dear to my heart the six-month session is! A lot of people think that the most important milestones to capture are newborn and one year, but this in-between age is especially sweet in so many ways.

This sweet newborn session is such a great example of my tried-and-true rule for picking your session colors: makes sure baby is the star of the show! There’s just something really special about having second-time parents in the studio. A few moments ago, I was photographing this tiny newborn, and now that baby is actually the big sibling! Crazy! MEET MEGHAN

At sixteen, my Grandfather put a camera in my hands. He taught me the basics and entrusted me with his darkroom. Grandad nurtured my talent with care and constructive criticism, leading me to a career that I love.

My work reflects love. I first witnessed that love while shooting weddings, where my career began. I have grown and expanded like those couples and transitioned into focusing on family portraiture and personal branding. I now capture a love that has matured... the tender maternity, newborn, or family and the self-love and confidence of the entrepreneur.

Life is not picture-perfect, but I strive to create images that will anchor you in hard times and remind you of the love and strength you have in your heart, that love that drives you every day.
